Important Fall Fund Raising News

In the past our fall fundraiser was a door to door photo fundraising drive.  In recent years the interest in obtaining photos has dropped off, perhaps due to the rise in digital photography, although the generosity of our donors was unchanged.  To recover more of the donations for the department we have elected to eliminate the photo option and have gone to a lower cost mailer fund drive in place of the door to door drive this fall.  Everybody in our area will receive a donation request packet in the mail over the next few weeks.  In addition to funding our normal operating expenses, we are in the final stages of raising funds to purchase a replacement engine for our 16 year old E-172.  Please consider giving as you have in the past to our photo fund drive, knowing that the lower cost of eliminating the door to door solicitation and paying the photographer enables more of your donation to go to work in your neighborhood, providing enhanced fire and medical services for you, your family, and your community.  Thank you for your generous support!
