Public Education in the Community

November 2005 - AVFD recently participated in a public education event to explain fire safety, display fire fighting equipment and demonstrate the process of "gearing-up" to fight fires. Public fire safety events are a great way to inform local residents about some of the aspects of fire safety and also to learn about how the AVFD operates.
